Replacement of the windshield washer pump

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING FRONT WHEEL .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR .

Remove windshield washer pump 

• Release the detent (1).
• Pull out the window washer pump (2) from the washer fluid reservoir (3) in arrow direction.

• Pull out the strainer with seal (1) from the washer fluid reservoir (2) in arrow direction.

• Replace the window washer pump.

Installing the window washer pump 

• Check strainer with seal (1) and pump (2) for damage.

• Position the strainer with seal (1) and install it in the washer fluid reservoir (2) in arrow direction.

• Position the window washer pump (2) and slide it in the washer fluid reservoir (3) in arrow direction until the detent (1) engages.
