51 13 402 Removing and installing/replacing the tailgate handle strip

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove TAILGATE TRIM PANEL 

Removal: 

Release screws (1).

Pull off the tailgate handle strip (1) from the tailgate, unlock and disconnect the associated plug connections.

Remove the tailgate handle strip (1).

Installation: 

Replacement: 

• If necessary, remount the REAR VIEW CAMERA

Position the tailgate handle strip.

Connect plug connections.

Tighten down screws (1).
