51 13 375 Removing and installing/replacing cover on left or right rear roof pillar (C-pillar)

Special tools required:
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove STRIP ON SIDE WINDOW
REMOVAL:
Pull out roof trim strip (1) from the two last clips.
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
Ensure temperature equalization; covers which are too cold can be damaged during disassembly.
Position special tool 00 9 317 as closely as possible to clips (2) and lever out cover (3) with a short sharp jerk.
INSTALLATION:
Clip in cover (1).
Clip in roof trim strip (2).
