Installing exchange transfer box (Cooper Clubman ALL4 models)

Recycling: 

Catch and dispose of leakage transmission oil.

Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove TRANSFER BOX .

Remount the following parts: 

• Remount shaft.
• Remount covers and protective caps.
• Remount drive shaft transportation retainer.

Attention! 

Before the transfer box is mounted, remove the red plastic pin from the vent hole.

Attention! 

After completing work top up TRANSMISSION OIL . Undo oil filler plug (1).

Check oil level.

Tightening torque 27 10 3AZ .

Top up the transmission oil to the lower edge of the opening for the oil filler plug (1).

Use only approved transmission oil.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the transfer box!
