33 32 042 Replacing a rubber mount in trailing arm, front

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Removal: 

Slacken nut (1).

Pull out screw.

Remove the trailing arm bearing support (2).

Pull out rubber mount with special tools 2 361 473 , 2 361 474 , 2 361 475 and 33 3 011 .

Attention  !

Risk of damage!

Position special tool 2 361 475 in such a way that the recesses on the special tool align with the notches (1) on the trailing arm.

Installation: 

When pulling in the rubber mount (1), the slot (2) has to be positioned in regards to the trailing arm as shown in the graphic.

Pull together the rubber mount (1) using the special tool 33 4 450 .

Position the rubber mount (1) on the trailing arm.

Mount special tools 2 361 480 , 2 361 477 and 33 3 011 .

Pull special tool 2 361 480 over rubber mount (1).

Insert rubber mount (1) to the point where special tool 33 4 450 abuts with trailing arm.

Remove special tool 33 4 450 .

Insert rubber mount (1) to limit position.

Position the trailing arm bearing support (2).

Replace nut (1).

Insert bolt and screw on nut (1).

Adjust the trailing arm bearing support to dimension A in relation to the trailing arm.

Tighten nut (1).

Tightening torque 33 32 4AZ .
