32 00 620 Adjusting rear axle

Special tools required  :

NOTE: A camber change always means a toe change as well. The camber must therefore be adjusted first.
If camber and toe-in are not adjustable within setpoint range: Troubleshooting at rear axle.

Adjusting camber  :

Renew the eccentric bolt (1) and nut and tighten to 5 Nm prior to setting.

Turn screw (1) and adjust camber to setpoint value.

Tighten nut (1).

Parts  : Renew nut.

Tightening torque 33 32 2AZ .

Adjusting toe  :

Renew the screws (1) and (2) and tighten to 5 Nm prior to setting.

Mount special tool 32 4 200 on screw (2).

Turn special tool 32 4 200 and adjust toe-in to setpoint value.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 33 32 5AZ .
