62 30 530 Replace combination disc (Head-Up Display)

Special tools required: 

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

Do not scratch glass pane of head-up display.

Necessary preliminary work: 

Removal: 

Fold out service flap (1) in direction of arrow.

NOTE: Undo the service flap (1) at the side using special tool 64 1 020 .

Open the lock (1) in direction of arrow on both sides with special tool 00 9 030 .

Bring the combination disc (1) into the service position (B) using the diagnosis system.

Feed the combination disc (1) out of the Head Up Display (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Feed the combination disc (1) into the Head Up Display (2) in direction of arrow.

Run in the combination disc (1) in the Head Up Display using the diagnosis system.

Close the lock (1) in direction of arrow on both sides with special tool 00 9 030 .

Close service cover (1) in direction of arrow.

NOTE: Make sure the service flap (1) is properly engaged.
