11 37 020 Removing and installing/replacing servomotor for eccentric shaft (B48, B46)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove ACOUSTIC COVER 
• Remove CROSS CONNECTION

Removal: 

Release screw (1).

Remove top partition wall (2) in upwards direction.

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Release screws (1).

Attention  !

Risk of damage  to intermediate shaft.

Release intermediate shaft:

Turn servomotor (1) in direction of arrow to the left by means of reversible ratchet (2) and 4 mm  hexagon socket wrench.

Remove actuator drive.

Installation: 

Detach and replace gasket (1) in direction of arrow.

Insert controller drive (1) as far as the gearing.

Screw in controller drive (1) using reversible ratchet (2) and 4 mm  hexagon socket wrench in direction of arrow up to limit position.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 37 2AZ .

Connect the connector (1).

Install top partition wall (2).

Tighten screw (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Check function of Digital Engine Electronics.
