61 31 362 Removing and installing (replacing) the receiver of the radio remote control

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove SIDE TRIM PANEL AT REAR RIGHT

Removal:

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Release expanding rivet (2) and remove the receiver (3).

Installation:

NOTE: Position the receiver (1) in a way that the positioning pin (2) engages in the matching bore hole.

Install the receiver (3) and secure with expanding rivet (2).

Connect the connector (1).
