61 33 040 Removing and installing/replacing a fanfare horn

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FRONT BUMPER PANEL

Removal:

Fanfare on top holder:

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Release nut (2) and feed out fanfare (3).

Fanfare on bottom holder:

Release nut (1) and feed out fanfare (2).

Unlock and disconnect associated connector.

Installation:

Fanfare on top holder:

Join fanfare (3) and tighten with nut (2).

Tightening torque: 6 Nm.

Connect the plug (1).

Fanfare on bottom holder:

Connect associated connector.

Join fanfare (2) and tighten with nut (1).

Tightening torque: 6 Nm.
