Vehicle check service (Cooper Convertible)

Passenger Compartment :
- Check HORN, HEADLIGHT FLASHERS AND HAZARD WARNING FLASHERS .
- Check INSTRUMENT AND INSCRIPTION LIGHTING, PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AND GLOVEBOX LIGHTING, BLOWER .
- Check LIGHTING SYSTEM : if necessary, adjust the headlights, function of front/rear and number plate light for a separate charge.
- SAFETY BELTS : Condition of seat belt strap, check function of electrically motorized reel, check seat belt locking reel, seat belt buckle, safety belt clip and, if necessary, safety belt clasp for damage
- Check WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM for function and setting.
NOTE:
Open the convertible top and unclip the rollover protection system cover prior to the triggering process!
Activate the ROLLOVER PROTECTION SYSTEM manually.
Rear/tires :
- Check TIRES (incl. compact spare wheel if present):
- Tread depth
- Tread wear pattern
- External condition
- Check inflation pressure and correct if necessary.
Observe note on tolerance compensation for tire pressure monitor!
- If fitted:
Mobility Set: Check expiry date on the tire sealant bottle. Replace tire sealant bottle, if necessary (charge separately).
- Check that warning triangle, high-visibility vest and first-aid kit are present. Check expiry date on first-aid kit (observe national legislation where applicable).
- Initialize TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR .
Engine compartment :
- Check COOLANT LEVEL AND CONCENTRATION top up if necessary.
Inform customer in event of incorrect fluid level and, if necessary, troubleshoot (charged separately).
- check fluid level and WINDOW WASHER AND HEADLIGHT CLEANING SYSTEM , topping up if necessary
- BATTERY : Check (Magic Eye) display, reload against separate calculation if necessary
Underfloor :
- Check BRAKE LINES AND CONNECTIONS : for tightness, damage, mounting and correct position
- Check VEHICLE UNDERBODY including all visible components for damage, correct position, tightness and corrosion
- Check STEERING COMPONENTS : for play and damage
Test drive :
- Check for TRAFFIC SAFETY :
- Braking
- Steering
- Shock Absorbers
- transmission
- RESET CBS display according to factory specification
- Carry over maintenance works in electronic Service Manual .
