Removing and installing/replacing the convertible top module (Cooper Convertible)

IMPORTANT: Observe NOTES  on protection from electrical damage (ESD protection).

Preliminary work needed: 

Removal: 

Unscrew nuts (1).

Remove the equipment holder (2).

Unlock detents (1).

Pull out the convertible top module (CVM) (2).

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1) on the convertible top module (CVM) (2).

Installation: 

Connect the connector (1) to the convertible top module (CVM) (2).

Join the convertible top module (CVM) (2) with the equipment holder.

NOTE: Check the detents (1).

Join the equipment holder (2).

Tighten down nuts (1).
