Removing and installing/replacing front cowl panel seal (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed:
- Remove left and right TRIM on a-pillar
- Remove left and right front TRIM PANEL for roof pillar (a-pillar).
- Remove left and right FRONT ROCKER PANEL TRIM
Removal :
Release screws (1) on front windshield panel seal (2).
Detach front windshield panel seal (2) on front door apertures, feed out from windshield panel at top and remove.
Installation :
Feed in front windshield panel seal (2) to windshield panel at top and connect to the door openings on the body.
NOTE:
Make sure seal (2) is correctly seated in relation to adjoining trim panel components.
Tighten screws (1) on front windshield panel seal (2).
Tightening torque 51 71 12AZ .
Required follow-up work :
- Install left and right TRIM ON A-PILLAR
- Install left and right front TRIM PANEL for roof pillar (a-pillar)
- Install left and right FRONT ROCKER PANEL TRIM
