Removing and installing the wiring harness section for the supply module (B36, B38, B48, B46) (Cooper)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove DME CONTROL UNIT. 

Removal:

Overview of supply module wiring harness section 

Unlock and disconnect following connectors and lines	Note
Unlock and loosen the connector from DME control unit
Unlock and loosen the connector from the supply module.
Release grounding cable on engine block	Tightening torque 12 52 5AZ .

Unlock and disconnect plugs (1).

Take out and remove wiring harness-supply module (2).

Release wiring harness- supply module from clips and clamps.

Take out and remove wiring harness-supply module.

Installation: 

Lay and install wiring harness-supply module.

Plug in all connectors as specified in table.

All connectors must audibly engage.

Unlock and disconnect following connectors and lines	Note
Connect and lock the connector of DME control unit
Connect and lock the connector of supply module.
Tighten grounding cable on engine block	Tightening torque 12 52 5AZ .

Insert and install wiring harness-supply module (2)..

Attach and lock connector (1).

Connector must audibly engage.
