Remove And Install Side Panel On Left (Cooper Clubman F54)

Read contents of BODY, GENERAL .

Observe GAP DIMENSIONS .

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove the front left WHEEL ARCH TRIM .
• Remove TRIM PANEL FOR COVER ON SIDE MEMBER AT LEFT .
• Remove AUXILIARY TURN SIGNAL LAMP .
• Partially loosen the rear WHEEL ARCH COVER .

Attention: 

Do not damage adjoining body parts.

Removal: 

Loosen the clips (1) and remove the seal (2).

Twist to loosen the push-buttons (1) and remove the seal (2).

Loosen the screws and remove side panel.

Installation:

Position the side panel and tighten the screws.

Tightening torque 41 35 1AZ and 63 12 2AZ .

Install the seal (2) and secure the push-buttons (1).

Install the seal (2) and secure the clips (1).

Required Follow-Up Work: 

• Secure the WHEEL ARCH COVER .
• Install AUXILIARY TURN SIGNAL LAMP .
• Install TRIM PANEL FOR COVER ON SIDE MEMBER on left.
• Install the front left WHEEL ARCH TRIM .
