Removing and installing/replacing rubber window seal for front left or right side window

Preliminary work needed:

Detach SOUND INSULATION at front door.
Detach WINDOW FRAME TRIM .
Remove inner window cavity COVER STRIP .

IMPORTANT: The INSTRUCTIONS on installation of rubber window seals serve as the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

Removal:

Remove screw (1).

Pull rubber window seal (1) out of front window rail.

Carefully lever out triangular trim (2) in an upward direction and remove.

Remove rubber window seal (1) sideways from door window frame.

Installation:

Mount rubber window seal (1) on door window frame.

Insert triangular trim (2) carefully from above and mount.

Insert rubber window seal (1) into the window guide rail.

Tighten screw (1).

Required reworking:

Attach SOUND INSULATION at front door.
Attach WINDOW FRAME TRIM .
Install inner window CHANNEL STRIP .
