Remove and install/replace window frame trim of the front left or front right door

The INSTRUCTIONS  on installation of rubber window seals serve as the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

Preliminary work needed: 

• Open side window
• Remove outer window shaft COVER STRIP .

Removal: 

Pull rubber window seal (1) out of rear window guide.

Unscrew the screws (1).

Feed out cover (2) in upward direction.

Installation: 

Feed in cover (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Coat rubber window seal (1) with lubricant and insert into rear window guide.

Required follow-up work 

• Attach outer window shaft COVER STRIP .
