Replacing light bulb for trunk compartment lighting (Cooper)
WARNING:
Follow INSTRUCTIONS for handling light bulbs (interior lights).
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove TRUNK COMPARTMENT LIGHT .
NOTE:
LED technology lights must be completely replaced.
Removal:
Release headlight diffuser cover (1) at detents (2) on both sides.
Remove headlight diffuser cover (1) from trunk compartment light (3) in arrow direction.
Push out and remove the bulb (1) from the bulb socket with a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver with 3 mm blade) in the direction of the arrow.
Installation:
NOTE:
Note BULB TYPE

Join the bulb (1) and the bulb socket in the opposite direction to the direction of the arrow.
Check headlight diffuser cover (1) before lining.
If necessary, carefully press together both side lugs a little in arrow direction.
Join lens cover (1) to trunk compartment light (3) opposite to arrow direction.
NOTE:
Make sure lens cover (1) is correctly seated and engaged (2).
Required follow-up work:
- Install TRUNK COMPARTMENT LIGHT .
