Replace the LED module in rear door trim on left or right (Cooper)

Preliminary work needed: 

Removal: 

Door opener 

Disconnect connector (1).

Release the LED module for door trim panel (2) from the holder.

Door opener 

Release fiber-optic conductor (2) on detent by using a screwdriver (3 mm blade).

Pull fiber-optic conductor (2) from LED module for door trim panel (1).

Door pocket: 

Disconnect the connector of the LED module for the door trim panel (2).

Carefully loosen fiber-optic conductor (1) from the holder.

Release the LED module for door trim panel (2) from the holder.

Door pocket: 

Release fiber-optic conductor (2) on detent by using a screwdriver (3 mm blade).

Pull fiber-optic conductor (2) from LED module for door trim panel (1).

Door trim panel 

Disconnect the connector of the LED module for the door trim panel (2).

Loosen the LED module for the door trim panel (2) including fiber-optic conductor from the holder.

Door trim panel 

Release fiber-optic conductor (2) on detent by using a screwdriver (3 mm blade).

Pull fiber-optic conductor (2) from LED module for door trim panel (1).

Installation: 

Door opener 

Insert fiber-optic conductor (2) into LED module for door trim panel (1).

NOTE: Ensure the fiber-optic conductor (2) is correctly fitted and engaged in the LED module for the door trim panel (1).

Door opener 

Insert the LED module for the door trim panel (2) including fiber-optic conductor into the holder and the door trim panel.

Connect the connector with the LED module for the door trim panel (1).

Door pocket: 

Insert fiber-optic conductor (2) into LED module for door trim panel (1).

NOTE: Ensure the fiber-optic conductor (2) is correctly fitted and engaged in the LED module for the door trim panel (1).

Door pocket: 

Insert the LED module for the door trim panel (1) including fiber-optic conductor (2) into the holder and the door trim panel.

Connect the connector with the LED module for the door trim panel (1).

NOTE: Ensure correct fit of the fiber-optic conductor (1) and the LED module for the door trim panel (2) in the holder and the door trim panel.

Door trim panel 

Insert fiber-optic conductor (2) into LED module for door trim panel (1).

NOTE: Ensure the fiber-optic conductor (2) is correctly fitted and engaged in the LED module for the door trim panel (1).

Door trim panel 

Insert the LED module for the door trim panel (1) including the fiber-optic conductor into the holder.

Connect the connector with the LED module for the door trim panel (1).

NOTE: Ensure fiber-optic conductor and LED module for side trim panel are correctly fitted in holder and door trim panel.
