Remove and install left or right rear door trim panel

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 325

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove ROCKER SWITCH for power electric windows

Removal: 

Remove cover (1).

Unscrew the screws (1).

Starting at bottom, release door trim panel from clips (1) using special tool 00 9 325.

Release top of door trim panel from clamps (2) and remove.

Detach Bowden cable (1) first from counter support (2) and then from door lock (3).

Feed out door wiring harness from all holders.

Unlock and disconnect all plug connections, then remove door trim panel.

Installation: 

Feed in door wiring harness in all mountings.

Connect and lock all plug connections.

Attach Bowden cable (1) first to door lock (3) and then to counter support (2).

Guide release rod into door trim panel.

Clip in door trim panel with clips (1) and clamps (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Install trim (1).
