Removing And Installing The Left Split Door (Cooper Clubman F54)

Removal: 

Open split door.

Pull the lock (1) upwards and disconnect the plug connection (2).

Loosen the hinge bolts (1) between both hinge halves at the top and bottom.

Slightly lift the clamp (2) in the direction of the arrow using a screwdriver.

Lift off ball socket (3) from ball hub.

Remove the split door.

Installation: 

Attach the split door to the hinges.

Check the clamps (2) are positioned correctly.

Connect the ball socket (3) to the ball hub.

Tighten the hinge bolts (1) between both hinge halves at the top and bottom.

Tightening torque 41 62 1AZ .

Connect the plug connection (1) and push the lock (2) downwards.

Carefully close the split door.

Check gap dimensions.

If necessary, ADJUST THE DOOR .
