Removing and installing/replacing actuator for left or right rear seat backrest (Cooper Convertible)
IMPORTANT:
- Microencapsulated screws must be coated with Loctite if they are to be reused
- Screw connection must be completed within 20 min. (start of harden)
- Microencapsulated screws must not be retightened.
- Thread of nut must be cleaned beforehand in event of repeated use
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove LOCK for rear seat backrest.
Removal:
Lift detent (1) slightly.
Feed out actuator (2) with guides (3).
Installation:
Insert actuator (2) with guides (3).
Clip in actuator (2) with detent (1).
Required follow-up work:
- Install LOCK for rear seat backrest.
