Removing and installing lumbar support on front seat (Except John Cooper Works)

WARNING: Injury hazard!
The seat frame has very sharp edges that can cause injuries from cuts.
Exercise extreme caution and wear work gloves as required when carrying out any repair work in the area of the seat frame.

Preliminary work needed: 

Removal: 

Use of the universal seat mount is recommended for carrying out professional repairs.

Detach lumbar support (3) from holders (1) and frame (2).

Cover working area and drill out rivet (1).

Remove adjuster (2) and take it out with the Bowden cable from the seat.

Installation: 

Fit the adjusting unit (2) with Bowden cable into seat.

Mount rivet (1).

Parts:  Replace rivet (1).

Attach lumbar support (3) in holders (1) and frame (2).
