Removing and installing/replacing front cowl panel seal (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove left and right TRIM  on a-pillar
• Remove left and right front TRIM PANEL  for roof pillar (a-pillar).
• Remove left and right FRONT ROCKER PANEL TRIM 

Removal  :

Release screws (1) on front windshield panel seal (2).

Detach front windshield panel seal (2) on front door apertures, feed out from windshield panel at top and remove.

Installation  :

Feed in front windshield panel seal (2) to windshield panel at top and connect to the door openings on the body.

Tighten screws (1) on front windshield panel seal (2).

Tightening torque 51 71 12AZ .

Required follow-up work  :

• Install left and right TRIM ON A-PILLAR 
• Install left and right front TRIM PANEL  for roof pillar (a-pillar)
• Install left and right FRONT ROCKER PANEL TRIM
