Replacing wheel bearing (hub) for rear wheel (Cooper Convertible)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove the rear WHEEL .
• Remove rear BRAKE DISCS .

Removal:

Unscrew the screws (1).

Remove wheel bearing (hub).

Installation: 

Keep contact surfaces (1) of wheel carrier and wheel bearing (hub) clean and free from oil and grease.

Align new wheel bearing (hub) to trailing arm.

Tighten down screws (1).

Part  : replace screws (1).

Tightening torque 33 41 1AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install rear BRAKE DISCS .
• Install rear WHEEL .
