Install the TRIM PANEL for the rear case

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
For the following task, the convertible top must be shifted electrically several times. In order to ensure the accessibility and the function, the trunk lid must be opened and the tailgate lock must be manually locked.
Only shift the convertible top in short steps and ensure that no parts are trapped.

Manually lock the left tailgate lock at the striker (1).
Shift the convertible top until the tension cable (1) is tension-free.
Feed tension cable (1) in the seat belt guide loop (3).
Fasten the luggage strap and the tension cable (1) with the rivet (2).

Fasten the headlining with the rivets (2) on the convertible top brace.
Secure the headlining with the Velcro strips (1).

Fasten the lower tension cable with rivet (3).
Feed the tension cable (2) behind the linkage and fasten to the bow with the rivet (1).

Fasten the headlining using screws (1).

Headlining to linkage

Secure the seat belt guide loop with the rivets (1).

Position the tension cable with the spring (2) on the bow and fasten using the rivets (1).
Fasten the headlining with the rivets (3) on the bow.

Feed tension cable (2) behind the linkage (3) towards the top.
Fasten the tension cable using screw (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Tension cable/loop to frame

2.8 Nm

Attach holder (1) with guide (2) in the convertible top frame (3).

Position the convertible top fabric (2) on the front strut in the direction of the arrow.
Clip in the detents (1) in the highlighted area.

Attach tension cable (2).
Secure tension cable (2) with adhesive tape (1).
Close soft top completely.

Clean the adhesive area (1).
Fix double-sided adhesive tape over the entire width of the adhesive area.

Attach cable holder (2) on bow (3).
