51 16 265 Remove and install/replace rear trim on rear console

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 10AZ .

Remove the luggage compartment floor support (2).

Fold down the rear insert mat (1) towards the front.

Installation note:

Mount nipples (3) correctly in holding eyelets (2).

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 51 16 6AZ .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 16 6AZ .

If applicable, tilt backrest slightly forward.

Remove cover (2) towards top.
