41 11 311 Replacing entrance for door front left

Follow procedure for REPAIR STAGE 3 .

The following new body parts are required:

(1) Side frame, outer, left

Mark severance cuts in accordance with specified dimensions and cut.

IMPORTANT: Cut outer panel only for following severance cuts.

Dimension a = approx. 55 mm behind 8 mm dia. hole.

Dimension b = approx. 125 mm before 8 mm dia. hole.

Open welded connections in areas (1).

View from below.

Open welded connections in area (1).

Remove the entrance section.

Installation note:

Mark new part in accordance with severance cuts on vehicle and cut.

Separate welded connections on new part to match vehicle.

Weld in REINFORCEMENT PLATES at all severance cuts.
