51 13 305 Removing and installing/replacing left or right roof railing
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove headlining. See ROOFLINER (WITH SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF) or HEADLINING (WITHOUT SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF) .
NOTE:
Graphic shown in cross-section.
Release upper self-locking nuts (1).
Tightening torque 51 13 5AZ .
Installation:
Replace self-locking nut (1).
Remove roof railing (1) in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Seals on roof railing (1) must not be damaged.
