54 34... Topping up/extracting fluid, checking oil level

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE: No changing of the hydraulic fluid necessary.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

IMPORTANT: Protect components and workbay with suitable materials (e.g. cloths).

Topping up oil: 

Vertically position the hydraulic unit.

Open oil filler plug.

Pour in required oil quantity from fluid bottle.

Installation note: 

Check oil level in the meantime.

Extracting oil: 

Open oil filler plug.

Tilt the hydraulic unit and let the oil flow out or draw it off with suitable auxiliary materials.

Checking oil level: 

Oil level must be within the marks (arrow) when the assembly is horizontal.
