STRIP DOWN VEHICLE 

Spot-weld bonding is used on this vehicle. See SPOT-WELD BONDING STEEL COMPONENTS  and OPENING BONDED CONNECTIONS .

Observe procedure for (REPAIR STAGE 3) !

Following new body parts are required:

Removal of luggage compartment floor 

Operation is described on the left side. Right side identical.

Open welded connections in areas (1).

Open spot-welded adhesive joints in area (2)

Open welded connections in area (1).

Installation note: 

Weld new part area (1) from below during installation.

Open welded connections in area (1).

Remove trunk floor.

New part preparation 

Open weld joints in areas (1) and remove components not required.

Adjust luggage compartment floor from below and in combination with tail panel.

Installation of luggage compartment floor: 

Install new part and weld.
