51 43 002 Removing and installing rear left or right side trim panel (JCWGP)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR DOOR POST (B-pillar)
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR ROOF PILLAR AT REAR (C-pillar)
- Remove LOAD BAR
- Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL
Release expanding rivets (1).
Feed out emergency release (2).
Release screw (3).
Installation note:
Make sure edge protection (4) is correctly seated.
Detach side trim panel (1) backwards from clips (2).
Detach side trim panel (1) upwards from clamps (3).
Feed out side trim panel (1).
Installation note:
Replace faulty clips (2) and clamps (3).
First attach side trim panel (1) with clamps (3), then secure at clips (2).
