33 31 011 Replacing rear axle support
Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove rear axle support. See REPLACING THE REAR AXLE SUPPORT (ALL-WHEEL DRIVE) or REPLACING COMPLETE REAR AXLE SUPPORT .

Installation note:
Use previous rear axle support as a template for modifying or replacing small parts.
Release wishbone at top left and right at the rear axle support. See REPLACING TOP LEFT AND RIGHT WISHBONE .
Release wishbone at bottom left and right at rear axle support. See REPLACING BOTTOM LEFT AND RIGHT WISHBONE .
After installation:
- Perform wheel alignment. See CHASSIS/WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH VEHICLE LOAD UP TO DESIGN POSITION or WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH RIDE HEIGHT MEASUREMENT WITHOUT VEHICLE LOAD .
