51 44 150 Replacing trim for front roofliner

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open soft top.
Remove INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR
Remove both TRIMS FOR FRONT ROOF PILLAR
Remove ROOF OPERATING UNIT

Remove both counter supports (3) for sun visors. To do so, lever out covers (1) and release screws (2).

Remove counter supports.

Unclip fastening clips (1) on trim for roofliner at front (2) in downward direction and remove trim.

Installation:

Fastening clips (1) on trim for roofliner at front (2) must not be damaged.
