51 43 160 Removing and installing/replacing trim panel on clubdoor pillar

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 51 43 5AZ

Detach door seal (2) in working area.

Detach panel (3) from clip (4) towards inside.

Only if replacing, release belt strap (5) (see last work step).

Installation: 

Make sure belt strap (5) can move freely.

If necessary, replace faulty clip (4).

Make sure door seal (2) is correctly seated.

Version with light package: 

Release cable holder (1) and disconnect plug connection (2).

Installation: 

Make sure LED (3) is correctly seated.

Replacement: 

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 72 11 4AZ

Feed out guide bar (2).

Make sure guide bar is correctly seated in area (3).

Feed out belt strap from trim for door pillar.
