51 47 151 Removing and installing/replacing left or right luggage compartment wheel arch trim

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Unclip covers (1).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Carefully lever out luggage compartment floor fixture (2) with special tool 00 9 317 and detach.

Release expansion rivets (1).

Fold luggage compartment wheel arch trim (2) at top inwards and disconnect associated plug connections.

Feed out luggage compartment wheel arch trim (2).

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty expander rivets (1).

Replacement:

Modify power socket (1)
Modify tank release pull knob (2)
Modify LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT .
