51 46 050 Removing and installing/replacing top trim on tail panel

Necessary preliminary tasks:

• Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL 

If necessary, remove warning triangle.

Release expansion rivet (1).

Release trim upwards from clips (2) and feed out.

Installation note: 

Replace faulty expanding rivets (1) and clips (2).

Make sure seal for rear lid is correctly seated.
