51 47 314 Removing and installing/replacing carpet for passenger compartment

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Equipment version with TV/telephone: 

Release screws (1) and remove cover (2).

Release screws (1) and remove cover (2).

Release trim (1) from retainers (2) and remove towards inside.

Release screw (1) and remove trim (2).

Release screws (1 and 2).

Take off holder (3).

Remove carpet (1) first at rear towards top.

Pull back carpet (1) under heating and A/C unit (2).

NOTE: A cut (3) is already provided in carpet (1).

Pay attention to cable when removing carpet (1).

If necessary, cut carpet (1) to feed out cable.

Installation: 

Make sure openings for air duct and attachment points are correctly positioned.
