24 11 040 Removing and installing/replacing transmission oil cooler (AISIN)

IMPORTANT: After completion of work, check GEARBOX OIL LEVEL .
Use only the approved OPERATING FLUID in this automatic transmission.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!

IMPORTANT: No dirt is allowed to enter the oil circuit.

Necessary preliminary work 

Unfasten hose clamps.

Detach coolant hoses (1) from transmission oil cooler.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 24 11 11AZ .

Installation note: 

Pay attention to position lug (2).

Replace sealing ring (1).

Installation note: 

Clean contact surfaces.

Moisten sealing ring (1) with clean transmission oil.
