31 35 000 Removing and installing/replacing front stabilizer

Necessary preliminary tasks

Release nut (1); if necessary, grip dihedron (2) or hexagon socket.

Tightening torque 31 35 1AZ .

Installation:

Replace self-locking nut.

Release left and right screws (1).

Tightening torque 31 35 3AZ .

Remove stabilizer (2) from control arm bracket.

Installation:

Replace RUBBER MOUNT for stabilizer.

After installation

Version with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC): Carry out STEERING ANGLE SENSOR ADJUSTMENT .

NOTE: Only cars with DSC are fitted with a steering angle sensor (integrated in the steering-column switch cluster).
