11 53 590 Removing and installing/replacing auxiliary water pump (N14)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: To disconnect coolant hoses, use commercially available disconnect tools such as HAZET brand tools (see table).

Clamp off coolant hoses.

Release hose clamps (1 and 2) with special tool 17 2 052.

Detach coolant hoses from auxiliary water pump.

Disconnect plug connection (4).

Release screws (3).

Tightening torque 11 53 3AZ

Assemble engine.
