11 61 362 Replacing right charge-air duct (N14)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Remove right headlight.

IMPORTANT: Gaiter and charge-air hoses with clamp fastenings must be installed dry and free from grease! Sealing faces and fittings must be dry and free from grease. If gaiter and charge-air hoses with clamp fastenings are not installed dry and free from grease, this may result in turbocharger failure!

Release screw and remove holder (1).

Release screw.

Release clamp and detach charge-air hose (1).

Installation: Install charge-air hose (1) dry and free from grease. Fitting on intercooler must be dry and free from grease.

Release screw. Release bolts (1). Tightening torque 51 23 3AZ . Release screw (2).

Release screw. Release bolts (1). Tightening torque 51 11 7AZ . Unlock connector (2) and remove. Release clamp (3). Raise lock carrier (4) slightly. Detach charge-air duct (5) from hose and remove.

Installation: Fit charge-air hose dry and without grease.
