Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead . See 12 00... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY
- Remove center console trim . See 51 16 200 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
- Remove complete navigation instrument cluster . See 62 10 130 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE NAVIGATION INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
Release screws (1).
IMPORTANT:
Do not scratch center console trim, cover if necessary.
Pull back Car Communication Computer (2) slightly.
Disconnect associated plug connections.
Remove Car Communication Computer (2).
Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding.
