52 13 036 Removing and installing/replacing actuating unit for left or right seat back release

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Version with rear panel only: 

Remove REAR PANEL  on front seat backrest

Version without  rear panel only:

Raise release handle and release screw (1).

Tightening torque 52 13 5AZ

Detach release handle.

Release screws (2).

Tightening torque 52 13 7AZ

Remove actuating unit (1) from backrest frame.

Disengage Bowden cable (1) from actuating unit.
