51 22 080 Removing and installing/replacing top clubdoor lock

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, seat belt reel is shown removed.

Disengage Bowden cable (1) and remove door opener (2).

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Release screws (4) and remove door lock.

Tightening torque 51 22 3AZ.

Installation:

Ensure correct lead routing.

Adjust gap dimensions. See 41 5.... ADJUSTING DOOR
