52 24 532 Replacing lower armrest section for rear seat backrest (normal)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear center head restraint. Refer to 52 24 388 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR MIDDLE HEAD RESTRAINT (NORMAL) .
Remove armrest for rear seat backrest. Refer to 52 25 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE ARMREST FOR REAR SEAT BACKREST .

Drive through pin (1) towards outside.

Fold up upper armrest section (2) and remove towards top.

Unclip cover (1) towards top and remove.

Gently raise frame (1) on left and right with assembly wedge (2).

Press switch unit (3) on left and right from inside of center armrest outwards.

Disconnect plug connection behind and remove switch unit (3) on left and right.

Unclip wiring harness (1) at designated areas, feed out and remove.

Release retainer (1).

Remove shaft (2).

Bend open holder (3) on left and right and remove.

Installation:

When installing holder (3), do not damage lower armrest section.
