51 13 082 Replacing trim grille for heater air inlet

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim grille for heater air inlet, refer to 51 13 081 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM GRILLE FOR HEATER AIR INLET

Sever holders (1) on trim grille (2) until flush.

Place lower section (2) on trim grille (1).

Press on lock washers (4) with a TORX E4 socket (5).

Shorten all plastic pins (3) down to measurement (A).

A= 2 mm

IMPORTANT: Measurement (A) for centre plastic pin in direction of travel at front must only be 1 mm (risk of damage).
