51 43 148 Removing and installing or replacing trim on left or right door pillar (top)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove panel for door pillar (bottom), refer to 51 43 150 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING TRIM FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR (BOTTOM)
Remove decorative strip on panel for door pillar, refer to 51 43... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DECORATIVE STRIP ON PANEL FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR
Release seatbelt screw on seat belt at bottom

Release expander rivets (1) on panel (2).

Detach panel (2) in direction of arrow.

Feed out seatbelt strap (3).

Installation:

Following parts of trim (4) must not be damaged or missing:

Guides
Belt finisher strip
Fixtures for expansion rivets
