51 34 160 Removing and installing/replacing cover on door window frame (rear door) at inside left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear door trim panel, refer to 51 42 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL

Version with roller sun blind only:

Remove adapter for roller sun blind, refer to 51 16... REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING ADAPTER FOR ROLLER SUN BLIND ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR

Remove rivet (1) from cover (2).

Detach cover (2) in direction of arrow from rear door.

Installation:

Make sure cover (2) is correctly seated on door seal.
