35 21 000 Removing and installing or replacing brake pedal

Remove lower left trim panel from instrument panel. 51 45 031 REPLACE TRIM FOR INSTRUMENT PANEL (LOWER SECTION)

Remove brake light switch, refer to 61 31 310 REPLACING BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH .

Remove retainers (1).

Withdraw pin (2).

Remove brake pedal.

Installation

Check bearing bushes (1) and replace if necessary.

Apply light coat of grease to bearing bushes (1) and bore (2).

Attach spring in grommet and pin.
